Nancy Fielding Diggs Missing

Anchorage police are searching tonight for a 51-year-old woman who suffers from Alzheimer's disease and was last seen at her South Anchorage home around noon.

The woman, Nancy Fielding Diggs, is about 5-feet 8-inches tall and weighs 140 pounds with shoulder-length red hair, police said.

She was last seen wearing a blue pajama shirt with a duck print, blue or black jeans and may be wearing a sweatshirt, police said.

She answers to the name Nancy Fielding and lives on Dailey Avenue near Johns Road, police said. Her sister returned to the house at 6:30 p.m. to find the woman missing.

Police are asking anyone who knows where she is to call 786-8900.
