Barbara W. Ausborn Found

DAPHNE, Ala. -- An 80-year-old woman who Daphne police said is showing early signs of Alzheimer's disease and went missing this afternoon was found safe in Mississippi tonight, police said.

Barbara W. Ausborn was reported missing to police about 6:15 p.m. this evening, Lt. Judson Beedy said. She was last seen leaving her residence in Lake Forest in a white 2002 Honda Civic four-door sedan, Beedy said. He said she was located about 10 p.m. in Mississippi, and family members are en route to be reunited with her.

Beedy expressed gratitude to authorities and others who helped to locate the woman.

Hayes Benjamin Little, 80, Missing

LAWRENCE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - Sheriff Gene Mitchell said that a missing person's report was filed around 6:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Hayes Benjamin Little, 80, was last seen at this house on County Road 131 in the Hatton Community around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. Little's wife woke up at 6:00 a.m. to find him missing and said he suffers from dementia.

Little was last seen wearing black pants, a plaid shirt, house shoes and possibly wearing a hat. Little is 5'09" tall and weighs about 180lbs. He has blue eyes and is bald.

The Sheriff said that Little's vehicle is gold in color and has an Alabama Handicap license plate of K74N6.

He was last seen wearing a black suit, white dress shirt, black tie with red accents and black boots. He may be traveling in a white GMC Cargo van with blue lettering FC written on the sides, Florida tag number N229EY. Missing Person Found

An Enterprise man was found early Saturday morning after law enforcement authorities were notified Friday night the man was missing.

The 76-year-old man was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and had apparently left his apartment at St. Albans on Paul Street around 9 p.m. Friday. Family members notified Enterprise police, who began the search.

The Coffee County Sheriff’s Department was notified and at daybreak Saturday, brought in the CCSO helicopter, along with the Coffee County Rescue Team on horseback.

A command post was set-up near the apartment complex behind Ronnie Gilley Properties building on the Highway 84 bypass.

Nine members of the possey, along with police officers and helicopter searched until the man was found by a police unit at a house on East Drive and Lagoon at 7:40 a.m. Saturday.

Enterprise Police Chief T.D. Jones thanked the members of the sheriff’s department and police officers for their part in the search.

Missing Person: Robert G. Taylor was found

Update 9:44 a.m. - Robert G. Taylor was found last night near the Signal Hill Park by a Manassas Park City Police Officer.  Mr. Taylor was found unharmed.

Last night: Police are asking the public’s help in finding a 78-year-old man who has been missing from Birmingham Green outside Manassas since 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Robert G. Taylor suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and a heart-related illness. Police say he was last seen at Birmingham Green at 8595 Centreville Road.

Taylor is 6 feet 2 inches tall, about 200 pounds and has gray hair. He may be wearing a red jacket.

Missing Person Found: Gerald Gibbs Jones

 LAMAR COUNTY, Ala. (WTVA) -- Lamar County, Alabama authorities say an elderly man who had been missing since Sunday afternoon is now safe.

78-year-old Gerald Gibbs Jones was found Monday.

Authorities say he was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation, but that he appears to be okay.

Jones had been missing after riding a red and white Polaris four-wheeler.  Officials say Mr. Jones suffered from Alzheimer's.

 LAMAR COUNTY, Ala. (WTVA) -- Lamar County sheriff's deputies are looking for a man missing since Sunday afternoon.

78-year-old Gerald Gibbs Jones was last seen around 3 pm on Glory Road in the Crews community.

Jones was last seen riding a red and white Polaris four-wheeler. He was wearing a white T-shirt, blue checkered flannel pants, a dark-colored quilted jacket, Alabama house shoes and a baseball cap. He also has Alzheimer's.

Roy Hollis Black, 86, Tuscaloosa, AL Missing

Senior citizen reported missing in Tuscaloosa

The Tuscaloosa Police Department is trying to locate Roy Hollis Black, 86, of Tuscaloosa.

Mr. Black’s daughter came to the police department at 12:43 p.m. to report that her father has not been seen since around 7:45 a.m. this morning.

Mr. Black left his residence in the 5000 block of Old Montgomery Hwy after breakfast and was supposed to be in route to his Doctors appointment but never arrived. Mr. Black had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and his family is concerned for his safety.

Mr. Black is 5 foot 8 and 250 lbs. He was last seen wearing blue pants, plaid shirt, and a blue windbreaker. He is driving a 2001 White Oldsmobile Intrigue. If anybody has any information on his whereabouts please contact the Tuscaloosa Police Department at 205-349-2121.

Morris Schiffman Found

Police located 79-year-old Morris Schiffman this morning and are working to reunite him with his family.

Schiffman, who family members say suffers from dementia, was last seen December 18th at a Panama City bank.

Eugene Gardner of Ozark says Schiffman stopped by his garage the next day and told him he was going to Birmingham.

That information helped authorities find Schiffman.

Eugene Gardner said, "he would in a few minutes he'd be right there with you and know where he was at and then just a few seconds later he wouldn't know he'd talk about the Korean war or something different from what we were doing."

Gardner last saw Schiffman Saturday just after 5:30 p.m.

Nelson Robinson Found

GRAND BAY, Ala. -- A 76-year-old Alzheimer's disease patient who went missing about 3 a.m. today was found tonight about 16 hours after he disappeared, the Moble County Sheriff's Office said.

Sheriff's spokesman Cpl. Chris McLean said Nelson Robinson was conscious but disoriented and was being sent to a local hospital for evaluation. He was located with the help of a large search party, in the woods about 100 yards east of his home on U.S. 90.
