Gary Floyd Missing

Police in the Tri-State are asking for help finding a elderly man with Alzheimer's, who went missing on Monday. 74 year old Gary Floyd is the second man in 24 hours with the disease to wander off and go missing.

Floyd, who hails from Greenhills, was last seen leaving Bethesda North Hospital about 1:00 Monday afternoon. He was there visiting a sick relative, but never returned home. Family members say he is in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease. Floyd is five feet, seven inches tall and weighs about 160 pound with brown eyes and grey hair. He was wearing a burgundy jacket, grey sweater and blue pants. He drives a light blue, Hyundai Elantra.

Overnight, officers did find 84 year old James Martin of Independence, Kentucky. He also has Alzheimer's. Martin left his home Monday morning around 9:00. Family members say Martin had expressed a desire to go to Florida.

Martin was found early Tuesday morning, safe in Oneida, Tennessee-some 200 miles south of Independence. Officers there stopped Martin after receiving a report of a person driving on the wrong side of the road.
