Robert John Daidone Arrested (Cancelled Silver Alert)

Cary, N.C. — A Morrisville man was arrested Saturday for stealing from two Cary homes on New Year's Day, according to arrest warrants.

Robert John Daidone, 21, of 204 Great Ridge Court, was charged with first-degree burglary, felony breaking-and-entering and larceny, and misdemeanor larceny.

Warrants say that Daidone broke into homes on Summer Lakes Drive and Lewiston Court, both near the intersection of High House Road and Cary Parkway. He stole sunglasses, cigars, a cigar cutter, prescription medication, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and money worth more than $6,750, according to the warrants.

Daidone was being held in the Wake County Jail Saturday under a $115,000 secured bond. His first court appearance was set for Monday.

Daidone has previous convictions for drug possession and credit card fraud in Wake County, according to state Department of Correction records.
