Leonard “Butch” Callinane Found Mowing the Lawn

NEW BOSTON, N.H. -- State and local police found 73-year-old New Boston man who had been missing for 10 hours.

Police said Leonard "Butch" Callinane, of 114 Beard Road, was last seen at about 1 p.m., when his son said he was mowing the lawn.Callinane's son said he came home at 5 p.m. and couldn't find his father, so he reported him missing.New Boston police and fire officials are staged a massive search along with police departments from Weare, Bedford, Francestown, Goffstown, Mont Vernon and the New Hampshire State Police Department.K-9 units were out with crews searching on foot, all-terrain vehicles and with the use of handheld infrared cameras. They focused their search in the area of Lowell and Beard roads.His family said he suffers from mild dementia. Callinane just moved in with his son in New Boston six months ago.Callinane was taken to a hospital by ambulance to be checked out.
